We booked twin room and it was immaculate. The beds were comfy, the food was good. The location was unbeatable and magnificent, short walk to centre of quiet village in whisky country, and had magnificent views. Besides, just a few minutes from Tomintoul Art Gallery.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the village square, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a seating area with armchairs. We appreciated the selection of hot beverages provided in the room, perfect for a relaxing evening. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, with freshly cooked options and a good cup of coffee to start the day.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The windows in the room were drafty, which made it a bit chilly at times.

Had just perfect experience, overall quiet place.
Location: the hotel was just next door to the village's main square, the centre of town, and the Cairngorms. We had goodies and coffee at Old Firestation, it was located extremely close to the venue. We had a deluxe queen room and it included central heating, tea/coffee making equipment and a multi-channel television.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel in the heart of a charming village. The location was perfect, situated on the main square and close to various attractions and amenities. I enjoyed two beautiful walks that started right from the hotel, and the surrounding area was so peaceful and serene. The room was spacious, freshly refurbished, and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly pleasant and always available to assist with any requests. The restaurant served delicious meals, and both the breakfast and dinner were of exceptional quality. I felt truly welcomed and pampered throughout my stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and luxurious experience. It exceeded all my expectations and provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
